The last 16 is set to be played on the 14th and 15th of August and will feature a mix of Premiership and Championship teams.
Newly promoted Hearts will face Celtic, Rangers will play Dumferline Athletic and St Johnstone will play Arbroath. After stopping Celtic from going for another treble, all eyes will be on St Johnstone to see if they can pull off another cup double, or if the wind will be knocked out their sails by another ‘unlikely’ team.

The group stages seen Hearts, Dundee United, Arbroath, Dundee, Raith Rovers, Livingston, Ayr United, Hamilton Accies, Motherwell. Queen’s Park, Kilmarnock, St Mirren and Dumferline Athletic all qualify.
Hibs, Aberdeen, St Johnstone, Celtic and Rangers have only now started playing in the competition due to their European games.
Kick-off times have yet to be decided but dates and venues for each fixture have been agreed. More in-depth information about each club participating can be found on the SPFL website.
