Team GB Secure Record Breaking 8th Swimming Medal

Team Gb has now secured eight medals in aquatic events. Four gold, three silvers and a bronze means their previous collection of seven overall medals has been beat.

Luke Greenbank, Adam Peaty, James Guy and Duncan Scott swam to silver success in the 4x100m relay final, marking the end of a terrific medal campaign for Team GB.

Team GB finished 0.73 seconds behind the US who won the gold medal in the event.

Duncan Scott also became the first UK athlete to earn four medals at the one Olympic Games. His teammates Luke Greenbank earned a bronze medal of his own during the games, James Guy won two gold medals of his own and Adam Peaty also won two golds.
