Aberdeen 1 – 1 Hearts
Hearts were able to draw 1-1 at Tynecastle against the dons. Liam Boyce opened the scoring for Hearts via a penalty 56 minutes in however, Aberdeen fought back and equalised 15 minutes later thanks to Funso Ojo. Yellow cards were given to Hearts’ Andy Halliday, Peter Haring and Jamie Walker. Aberdeen’s Johnny Hayes and Lewis Ferguson also received yellows.
Celtic 6 – 0 St Mirren
A David Turnbull hat trick sealed the easy victory for the hoops with only mere minutes left in the match. Celtic were 4-0 up by half time thanks to two goals from Liel Abada and David Turnbull. St Mirren on the other hand were down to 10 men and goalless at half time. Two second half goals from Odsonne Eduard and David Turnbull put the final nail on St Mirren’s coffin. Alan Power was given a red card and sent off for St Mirren 19 minutes into the game. Yellows were also given to his fellow St Mirren players Jamie McGrath and Curtis Main. Celtic player Ismaila Soro also received a yellow.
Dundee 2 – 2 Hibs
Despite an early Dundee goal the game finished as a well fought after 2-2 draw at Dens Park. Jason Cummings opened the score line 11 minutes into the match. 39 minutes in seen Hibs angel Martin Boyle score a penalty to take it to 1-1. Ryan Porteous then put Hibs ahead 59 minutes in but Paul McGowan then scored the final equaliser 83 minutes into the game. Yellow cards were given to 8 players in total. Dundee’s Paul McMullan, Charlie Adam, Lee Ashcroft, Shaun Byrne and Paul McGowan. Hibs players Paul McGinn, Ryan Porteous and Josh Doig also received one.
Dundee United 1 – 0 St Johnstone
Dundee United came out victorious after a Peter Pawlett goal in the 60th minute despite going down to 10 men. Peter Pawlett was sent off after receiving two yellows. Other United players to receive yellows include: Jamie Robson and Marc McNulty.
Livingston 1 – 2 Motherwell
Livingston were disallowed a goal in the first half but then went on to correct themselves as Alan Forest opened the scoring for the lions 38 minutes into the game. Motherwell were quick to fight back as straight after halftime Tony Watt scored the equaliser. 79 minutes in then seen Liam Grimshaw score his first ever goal for Motherwell after 112 overall appearances for the club,as the steelmen claimed their first three points in the league. Liam Grimshaw received a yellow shortly before his goal as did Livingston’s Jack Fitzwater.
Rangers 4 – 2 Ross County
Another six goal rush game in the Premiership happened in Dingwall. Joe Aribo, Connor Goldson, Alfredo Morelos and Scott Arfield all scored for Rangers. Ross County’s goal scorers included Harry Clarke and a penalty taken by Jordan White. Yellows were given to Joe Aribo and Calvin Ramsey from Rangers. Connor Randall and Joseph Hungbo from Ross County also we’re given yellows.
